Every advantage has its disadvantages—and this is true of the new factory near my community. One one hand, the new factory can boost the rapid development of the economy and raise the people’s living standards of my community. On the other hand, it can bring us some side effects, such as the environment problem.
As everybody knows, city, a reprehensive of prosperous economy, rises from industrial age. Where there is factory, there is economy-developing potential. The new factory can offer the local people many jobs and increase their income, which can meet their living demand. In aaddition, out of the need of business contact, some infrastructure, such as the traffic and information tools have to be built. Then they provide the natives a more convenient channel to communicate with the external world. Moreover, it can bring out unprecedented economic growth, vigorously and comprehensive boost productivity and the economy of the whole community. These are all its advantages.
However, every rose has its thorn. What calls for special attention is that a large volume of poisonous gas will be given off by the factory, polluting the atmosphere of the community. Industrial sewage leads to water pollution .Noise pollution, radioactive pollution and other pollutions are to threaten people’s health and the ecological environment. That’s what about its disadvantages.
In brief, the new factory’s building is a two-edged sword. It drives the economy forward at the expense of destroying environment. That is the two sides of the new factory near my community
